Local accommodators and attractions who promote Saugeen Shores as a tourist destination. The Port Elgin Tourist Association is made up of the following tourism based businesses:

For over 25 years this organization has fundraised to not only promote Port Elgin, but also beautify the Port Elgin harbour and its Waterfront Promenade with lighting, benches and various amentities.

The Port Elgin Tourist Association also organizes the popular Port Elgin Flea Market a must visit attraction held every Wednesday from the last Wednesday in June to the last Wednesday in August

This accommodator's association is also a promoter of one of Port Elgin's most popular attractions - a working minature steam train located at  The Station and The Port Elgin Rail Road - located on Port Elgin's main beach.
