In the summer, Port Elgin waterfront transforms into a bustling outdoor flea market, complete with treasures and baubles galore. Come on out each Wednesday from 9am-4pm from the end of June until the last Wednesday in August.
Over fifty vendors bring assorted goods such as children's toys, candy, meats, books, jewellery, crafts, purses and clothing. Near the flea market, you will find parking, a lovely sandy beach, eating establishments, entertainment, playground equipment, and a busy marina.
Make a day of it, plenty of activities and things to do await you!
Admission is only 25 cents ~ children under 12 free.
Parking is available!
NOTE: No dogs allowed walking through the market. Dogs are allowed, but must be carried through the market at all times.
The Port Elgin Tourist Association organizes the Flea market with, proceeds from the Market going towards beach improvements such as: playground equipment, sun shades, benches, lights and picnic tables as well as promoting our wonderful town.
