Situated at the base of the Southampton Canadian flag, the Captain Spence Path is a beautiful short path that takes you from the Southampton Main Beach to the Southampton harbour and Pioneer Park

It is an easy, picturesque stroll that has breath taking views of Lake Huron. Sit for a while at one of the many benches and breath in the fresh air. 

The Captain Spence Path is home to several butterfly gardens (pods). Each pod has been certified as Monarch Way Stations. Learn about native plants, Monarchs, and pollinators as you visit the pods. Don't forget to bring your camera.
