The Station is open seasonally Wednesday to Sunday at 1:00pm, 3:00pm, 5:00pm, 7:30pm & 8:30 pm. Please arrive at The Station 20 - 30 minutes before each scheduled run to ensure you get a spot on the train.
Train Route: The train takes a fifteen-minute, 1.6 kilometre route around the Port Elgin Harbour, through the beautiful North Shore Park. It departs from The Station located on Port Elgin's main beach. The whole family will enjoy a ride aboard an authentic narrow-gauge replica of an 1836 American Steam Engine.

The Station Candy Factory We make a large majority of fresh candy on-site including over 20 flavours of delicious homemade fudge daily, candy apples, caramel apples, peanut brittle, caramel corn, bulk assorted candy. We pride ourselves on having something for everyone's sweet tooth!
Mini Putt Anyone? Our 18-hole mini putt course has beautiful gardens and is sheltered by cedar hedges. Beach and Water Toys We are known for our great selection of beach and water toys! Beach Food We serve homemade hamburgers, hotdogs, fries, sausages, over 20 different flavours of Nestle Ice cream and much more.
Please note: the train does not run on Mondays, but the store is open. All train runs are weather permitting – the train does not run on wet tracks. Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis. Tickets can be bought in advance, but it does not guarantee a spot on the train.
The train runs every day except Mondays from July 1st to Labour Day. There are five runs a day at the following times:
Come play mini putt at The Station! It's a guaranteed great time for friends and family! The Station's mini putt course is a challenging 18 hole course through a lush matrix of cedar bushes. Beautiful flower gardens and water fountains line the course for your enjoyment in-between holes.
The Station home makes over twenty varieties of rich, creamy fudge. The fudge is sold by the slice: $5.00 per slice or 4 slices for $15.00.
The Station has a wide assortment of candy and other sweets which are all made fresh on premises. Treats include home-made fudge, candy coated nuts, candy apples, caramel apples, cotton candy and much more.
